For all red belts and black belts NOT away for the holidays training is still on tomorrow Saturday 24th September. Dragon Flies and Saturday Scorpions 9:30 am start red & black belts 10:30 am.

I arrived home yesterday about 4:00pm, unpacked the cruiser had a real coffee from my daughter and her partners cafe Jett a little dinner and then slept like a baby. So now I am refreshed and ready to go. See you all tonight can't wait.

Here in Canberra

Hello Everyone,
yes the Cruiser got me to Canberra on time, it was a great trip. We really do have a great country!
On Sunday night I caught up with a friend who has a small farm at Dalveen just 15 minutes out from Stanthorpe very cold but the stars were so bright that night.
 I then pushed onto and stayed at Tamworth and Dubbo camping and caravan parks they have all the mod cons nowdays. Not a lot happened other than a chance to see some great country snap shots, I love it.
 I arrived at Canberra about 4.30 pm Wednesday and was greeted with a cold snap. I am well and truly settled in now and have been feed oh did I tell you all the food prepared here at the AIS is all scientifically researched to be the best fuel for any athlete, and it tastes great. It is about 4.00 am Thursday as I am writing this and I understand it is -1deg outside brrrrrrr thank goodness the tournament is indoors.
As you may have guessed I am staying at the AIS Institute accommodation block and this is a real eye opener. I have never seen so many tall people at the one time not just boys and men but Amazonian women 6 foot and taller.
The competition starts at 9.00 am in the morning with a judges briefing at 8.00 am and then into it. I guess I will catch up with Blake and Matt later today I hope. I will try to get some video to help you get a feel of the place. I believe the program is on the Taekwondo Australia website www.taekwondoaustralia.com.au alright I might try and get a bit more sleep before breakfast.

TA Nationals

Hi Everyone, well it is nationals in Canberra next week end and as you know we have two students going Blake Watkin and Matthew Taylor next year I am sure Caitlin and Rachael Gauci will also be there and maybe Ryan Evans who knows it is all very exciting. Anyway I got sidetracked I will also be there judging in the technical events and supporting the boys.
I am leaving Sunday Fathers day and driving down which means I will be away from the 4th and back for Wednesday class 14th.
Adam Kehl Matthew Davis and the Black belt team will be there on hand to run things while I am away. Train hard everyone and I will do my best to keep you update with the latest news.
I am also going to put my trip on Facebook.

Extra training Saturday

Today we had a great result from the extra training session this morning. Yes 15 I think WOW the results, almost everyone that attended received a grading form. Well done but the free sessions are on again next Saturday 10th 9:30am to 10:30. Black belt training is ago as well.
