 Taekwondo Jessi Henning a Red belt 12-13 / 40-45 and her coach we had a match play.

TKDQLD Selections Daenamoo Taekwondo brings home gold!

  

Blake was first to compete today and started very confidently with a very strong finish. Golden result. Blake then teamed up with Joshua Flinn from Kicks Taekwondo Aspley, it was as though they had been training for months, the chemistry worked well and Gold was the result.

Then it was Matthew's turn he put in his best effort ever, a very strong performance..... Gold. It also seems that an opportunity to team up with Solomon Hannam from Korean Martial Arts Academy became a Silver event WELL done boys.

Rachael what a great effort she put in although there was no medal Rachaels performance is getting better with every tournament, great done Rachael

Taekwondo Queensland Selections Volunteers needed

Next weekend Taekwondo Qld will hold the final selection event for the Taekwondo Australia Nationals and Australian Open for 2011.  But to make it more successful we need more volunteers. If you can help out please contact the Taekwondo Qld office on Ph. 07 33250921 or email info@tkdqld.com.au.
Without volunteers many events would not happen.

Daenamoo Taekwondo says Thank you to Caboolture Sports Club.

 

Blake Watkin set off with the Taekwondo Qld Team on Tuesday to compete at the Chun Cheong Open in South Korea. Over the last few months Blake and his team memebers have been working tirelessly towards this great event which happens every two years.

But what has made this trip a little extra special is that Blake has been recognised for his efforts at home with the Caboolture Sports Club giving Blake a substancial financial incentive ($400.00). This sends a great message to the community that if you work hard businesses like the Caboolture Sports club will get behind our young people and help them make a difference to their own lives but act as a shining example to others to follow.

On behalf of my club members at Daenamoo Taekwondo I would like to say thank you very much Caboolture Sports Club for your support of our student Blake Watkin.
Also last year Caboolture Shire council also supported Blake financially this has not gone unnoticed and is always greatly appeciated.
