Coming events - tournaments and TQ.

Just a reminder about what is ahead of us . . . . .

STATE TRAINING

Sunday June 3 – usual format – poomsae 12-2 and sparring 1-4!  This event remains open to participation of members and non-members alike.

Sunday July 1

Sunday August 12 State Training is a full day workshop including photos of the Nationals Squad and Team Qld – format to be released shortly.

Sunday September 9

COACH ACCREDITATION COURSE

Also Sunday June 3 at Brendale – bookings essential by Thursday 31 May (book by phone to 3325 0921 or email to info@tkdqld.com).  Application forms are available on TA website www.taekwondoaustralia.com.au on the ‘Coach’ and ‘Download’ pages.

NORTH QLD GAMES

Sunday June 24 in Townsville – come and pay in the warm Nth Qld weather!  Entries going better and expected.  This event is open to members, WTF styled non-members and non-WTF clubs and involves sparring, poomsae and breaking.

A TECHNICAL SEMINAR will also be conducted in conjunction with the NQ Games and this will be on Saturday 23^rd.

REFEREE SEMINAR

There will be a referee seminar at Brendale on Sunday July 1 – more info soon.

TECHNICAL SEMINAR

The next Brisbane Technical Seminar will be at Brendale on Sunday July 8.

SELECTIONS

Qld Selection Championships for the TA Nationals Squad will be on July 21/22 at Boondall – athletes wishing to participate in Nationals MUST attend and compete.

INTERSTATE COMPETITIONS

VIC championships for sparring are on June 3

NSW championships are on August 4/5

Team Qld members are reminded that their entry fees at these interstate competitions can be rebated via the State Office – please bring your receipt or entry confirmation to State Training.

TOURNAMENTS

Brisbane Invitational 2012 (Refer Russell Macarthur for details) scheduled for Saturday 11 August

Yun Hap Taekwondo Competition is planned for 26 August – more info shortly

Pan Pacific MASTERS Games – November 3 and 4

NATIONALS

TA National Championships are in Sydney 27-30 September and we expect more information about the event and divisions shortly.

Great effort boys Blake - Poomse Silver Matt - Poomse Gold & Sparring Bronze, Joel - Sparring Gold and Ryan an awesome effort next time mate. Mums and Dads big effort to and Victoria huge effort refereeing well done everyone.
